Nutanix Source Connector for CI Synchronizer

Nutanix is a leading provider of hyperconverged infrastructure solutions, transforming traditional data center operations. The Nutanix platform integrates computing, storage, and networking into a single, efficient system, eliminating the need for separate hardware components. The CI Synchronizer Nutanix connector provides seamless synchronisation of your Nutanix landscape into your Configuration Management Database (CMDB) providing absolute visibility of your assets and their dependencies.

Getting up and running to connect to your Nutanix Central instance is very easy. All that is required is Nutanix user credentials with read-only access and you are ready to configure the connection in CI Synchronizer and start synchronising. Multiple instances are also supported.

Comprehensive Coverage
Maps your Nutanix Clusters, Hosts and Images into their corresponding Nutanix CI classes in ServiceNow.
Dynamically Generates CI-to-CI Relationships
Replicates the virtualisation hierarchy in your CMDB as relationship records.
Detects Instantiated Computers
Automatically finds corresponding computer CI records that have been discovered by other discovery systems and creates a relationship in the destination system so the dependency on the underlying virtualisation host is known in your CMDB.
Multiple Instances
If you run multiple instances of Nutanix, no problem! The connector supports connections to multiple Nutanix instances.

Throughput is affected by factors outside of the control of CI Synchronizer, however we see a typical throughput of between 200,000 and 400,000 records per hour (and even higher rates are possible).

Ultimately the customer decides, however Syncfish recommends hosting each customer instance physically close to the location of their ServiceNow instance (for best performance). It can be hosted in most/all Azure Regions globally (it is still hosted/managed/maintained by Syncfish, but the customer decides which geography it is physically located in).
